Marketing Intern - Spring / Summer 2025

We are in search of a highly motivated and enthusiastic intern with a strong desire to build a career as a professional marketer. The right candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with our Director of Marketing, serving the unique needs of a large law firm in Cedar Rapids, IA. This is a paid internship. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Website Updates: Assist in updating and maintaining the firm's website.
• Content Writing: Edit and draft articles for blog posts, social media, the website, and award submissions.
• CRM Updates: Assist in maintaining the firm's customer relationship management (CRM) system.
• Data Entry: Perform data entry tasks to support marketing and client outreach initiatives.
• Event Planning: Assist in coordinating and promoting firm events, client meetings, seminars, and networking events.
•  Administrative Support: Provide general administrative assistance to the marketing director.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing, public relations, or communications
• Understanding of different marketing techniques
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office
• Familiarity with marketing software and online applications (e.g., CRM tools and Google analytics)

Time Commitment:

• Part-time during the spring semester (15+ hours – Flexible with school schedule)
• Full-time during the summer (40 hours)
