Drew Powell Joins CRPride Board of Directors
Attorney Drew Powell has been elected to serve on the CRPride Board of Directors. In this role, Powell will help support CRPride's mission to create opportunities for awareness, inclusivity and visibility of LGBTQIA+ individuals within the community. He will also work with the board to plan a variety of community activities, including the next CRPrideFest to be held in July 2022. CRPrideFest is an event held in the NewBo District of Cedar Rapids that typically draws over 9,000 attendees.
Drew Powell is a litigation attorney practicing primarily in business and commercial litigation, insurance defense, transportation law, estate and trust litigation and bankruptcy and creditors’ rights. He joined Simmons Perrine Moyer Bergman PLC in Cedar Rapids in 2019.
