Nick AbouAssaly Appointed to Serve on the Iowa Finance Authority Board
Governor Kim Reynolds has appointed Nick AbouAssaly to serve on the Iowa Finance Authority Board of Directors. His term began on July 1 and will run until April 30, 2025.
The Iowa Finance Authority Board of Directors provide oversight and administration of programs such as housing, economic development, infrastructure, environmental, etc. They review and approve staff recommendations for budgets and planning and provide financial assistance recommendations. Board members are appointed by the Governor, confirmed by the Iowa Senate, and serve staggered six-year terms.
Mr. AbouAssaly joined Simmons Perrine Moyer Bergman PLC in 1997 and has since grown a large real estate practice. He is passionate about community support and is the current Mayor for the City of Marion.
